"Effective People Management in the Academe" is this year's 11th National Convention Theme of the Asian Association of Schools Human Resource Management and Development Practitoners, Inc. (AASHPI).
This will be held on September 1 - 3, 2010 at the Heritage Hotel in Manila.
As in the past years, AASHPI will continue deepening its commitment in helping schools and institutions manage and develop their human resources.

AASHPI GOES TO NORTHERN MINDANAO
The Asian Association of School Human Resource Management and Development Practitioners Inc. (AASHPI) held its first Learning Sessions for the Annual year 2010 at the Gloria Maris, Limketkai Mall, Limketkai Center in Cagayan de Oro City last March 18 and 19, 2010.
The two-day learning sessions focused on the topics “Designing Effective Performance Management System in Schools” and “Job Ranking and Designing Salary Schemes in Schools”.
The attendees composed of HR Practitioners, School Administrators, Principals, Deans, School Owners and Educators rated the resource person, Mr. Ruel Montenegro as a very effective and inspiring speaker who gave them a lot of insights and direction in dealing with critical and controversial issues that have significant implications for an organization’s productivity, effectiveness, profitability and employee performance.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE 10TH AASHPI NATIONAL CONVENTION
The venue, Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City, the line-up of distinguished speakers who are experts in their respective fields, the guided tour of selected scenic spots of Cebu and the privilege of availing the free one year membership fee, made the 10th AASHPI National Convention, last August 26 - 28, 2009, a resounding success!
A total of 153 delegates attended the convention and participated in the selection of nominees for the ASSHPI Board of Directors (National) 2010 -2011.
